Deborah Curry

Deborah Phillips Curry , a native of  Trenton, New Jersey, serves along side her husband, Pastor Richard Curry as co-founder of  Christian HomeBoy Ministries. Together, they are committed to recruiting, encouraging, and empowering saved "Homeboys" to fulfill the purpose God has destined for their lives.

Mrs. Curry, like her husband, has a passion for souls and serves as First Lady of New Piney Wood Chapel Baptist Church where she is also a Sunday School teacher and couples' ministry facilitator. As a gifted educator with more than 20 years teaching experience in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia, Mrs. Curry uses her God-given skills to inspire the minds and talents of  young people wherever she goes. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Delaware University, attended graduate school at Rutgers University, and currently teaches middle school students in Virginia Beach, VA.
